Me and My Crazy Life

OH MY GOSH, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Jet ski, tubes, laying in the sun, swimming, bonfires, and of course, alcohol! Nixon and Tina came up too!!! They drove up Monday afternoon, and stayed until Tuesday evening! I was so sad to see them go, but I was ecstatic that they were able to work it so they could be there at all! Oh, and thanks for the voicemails Nixon, I can almost hear again:) I can hear Kenny Barker in the background saying, "what are you doing to that girl?!" It's hilarious!

Pieper's friend Katie came up Monday night, and stayed till like 3am on Wednesday morning. I dunno why she left, I wanted her to stay, she was fun:) She said something about Pieper didn't want her to stay or something, I told her that it didn't matter cuz it was my house and I said she should stay, but I guess Pieper got what he wanted. Oh well, I'm sure I'll see her again...

We went to the casino for about an hour and a half on Tuesday night too at like 10pm, that was fun, but all the smoke made me get a really raspy voice for about a week:) no winnings though. I did get $5 for free just for signing up for a players card:) LOL

Well, I'll have to finish later cuz there seems to be a small get-together we'll be heading out to at Mike P's house!

On a slightly lower note, before the great cabin trip:

On Saturday we brought my brother with to grandma's bday, and that could have definitely gone better. Oh well, I spose when you're just a family and you're competing with a drug that's taken someone over, you don't really have much of a chance. Needless to say he not only broke my heart, but he did it in public, and on purpose. Thanks Jay, it was nice to see you for the first time since Easter. Ya know, it's sad, but I just hope that next time you are still able to yell at me, and that I'm not standing over you paying my respects.

That cabin trip left me with such an uppity spirit! All that sun made me happy I think so I have such an overall sense of calm and relaxation, I love it! Well, I'll be back on to finish later!

Well, here I am in day three and a 1/2 of getting back into my diet. I'll tell you though, the sugar withdrawls have been so outrageous that I've wanted to throw the diet out the window and watch it crash to the ground while I head to the kitchen to make up for lost time with the bread and noodles:) What makes it worth doing though, is knowing that in like three more days I won't crave sugar in the least bit, and also, knowing that I've lost 4 lbs. in the last three days. It may not seem like much now, and the results are probably only noticable to me since I can see the number on the scale, but that's good enough for me. Give it another couple of days and the results will be more noticable.  I love quick results and thats exactly what I'm able to get with this! So needless to say I'm feeling pretty good right now:)

Oh, and have you seen Mike?! He's lost a total of ten pounds already, and he's got so much muscle it's ridiculous! He's so gorgeous I can't believe it! I'm so proud of him that he's got such strong self control and discipline. I had to work super hard to get a little bit of either one, and it took forever it seemed like to feel like I had them both. He had them from the get though. He's working so hard at it and i think he finally realizes how true it is when people say that the first ten pounds is the hardest. I have always thought he has looked nothing short of amazing, I love him more than anything, but I can't tell you how much better he looks simply because he's happier in his own skin.

Well, mom and the girls may still be coming up for the weekend, but not sure yet. Mom's new business she started up with her friend Corrine is starting to take off, so we'll have to see how that goes. Dan's new construction job came through, so he's busy trying to recruit the best team possible before they can begin to work. Both my parents are doing these things while they are still running their Bear Rolloff business, which is also doing super well! My family's faith is completely to thank for this, and they realize how blessed they are to have had these endeavors workout so well. We know that everything happens for a reason, and that selling the house and cabin sucks, but I know they'll be okay, and I know that whatever happens, they'll be happy and that's all I worry about.

Less than two weeks and some of our buds from Elk River, MN will be here for four days!!! I can't wait! Nixon still has pooped out on us, but oh well,  we're gonna have so much fun it's ridiculous! He's gonna totally regret forever the fact that he didn't come with! I gotta lot of cleaning to do though... My house manages to get dusty within like two days of me dusting, and some how the kitchen and bathroom floors get super dirty like the day after I scrub them clean! Well, guess I'll be cleaning a few times before they come up here:)

Well, I gotta be getting ready for the day. I have laundry to do, and I got called into work tonight from 5pm to close. Then we're going to Luke and Emily's house tonight so I'll be there after work. I might write later, but I may wait till tomorrow, so we'll see:)
